Patricksburg volunteer firefighters responded to a house fire in rural
Owen county where they found a house fully involved upon arrival. The
cause of the fire appeared to be lightning. The house was in a remote
rural area and firefighters had to use a lake for a water supply.
Tankers from several departments responded.
